Industrial minimalism, fair-faced concrete, track lighting. Materials cut to the minimum so the space goes quiet, and the body and its movement become the only lead — focused, crisp, and easy on the eye.

Challenge
A dance studio's functional demands are hard — mirrors, barres, flooring, lighting, storage all essential — yet most studios end up generic and characterless. Meeting the function while still giving the space an attitude that lasts was the heart of this case.
Art Direction
Drawn together with an industrial-minimal vocabulary — bare fair-faced concrete as the base keeps the space quiet, track lighting gives adjustable light answering dance's need for light and shadow.
Excess decoration removed, so the body and its movement become the lead of the space.

Outcome
The space reads as focused and crisp — meeting the teaching function while also being a photogenic backdrop for shooting and promotion.
